RIDGEFIELD — There would be no need for an epic comeback this time.
A year after stunning Ridgefield by rallying from 25 down in the fourth quarter, St. Joseph took control early on Friday night at Tiger Hollow, rolling to a 42-0 win.
“I thought our defense competed well. I saw Ridgefield play last week and I thought they were a good offensive team,” St. Joe’s coach Joe DellaVecchia said. “To hold them to no points and not much offense was a credit to our defensive guys.”
