The New Canaan girls soccer train continues to race down the tracks.
The Rams won their third consecutive game against an FCIAC playoff contender when they annihilated the Trumbull Eagles 6-0 Monday at Dunning Field.
Freshman Dillyn Patten scored the first goal, with an assist from sophomore Kaleigh Harden, just 42 seconds into the game and the Rams never looked back. New Canaan built a 3-0 lead by halftime and added three more tallies in the second half.
