With a bye last week, the New Canaan Rams football team had to live with a demoralizing 42-14 loss to Greenwich for nearly two weeks.
That being said, it didn’t take the Rams long to get the bad taste of that loss out of their mouths Friday night against Trinity Catholic.
New Canaan raced out to a 42-7 halftime lead, coasting to a 49-7 win over the Crusaders at Stamford’s Gaglio Field.
“Our kids came out and took care of business,” New Canaan head coach Lou Marinelli told the Advertiser. “We had a lot of kids catch the ball tonight and the offensive line is improving. I think we’re getting better. We had a great week of practice last week and I was pleased with the effort.”
