Six teams will contend for the FCIAC Boys Ice Hockey championship, as the tournament gets underway with a pair of playdown round games on Saturday.
The unbeaten Ridgefield Tigers head into the playoffs as the league’s No. 1 seed, with the Darien Blue Wave at No. 2. The rest of the field features No. 3 New Canaan, No. 4 Westhill/Stamford, No. 5 Fairfield, and No. 6 Greenwich.
