DANBURY—Two years ago the teams each brought home a championship, one a league, the other a state title. Last year they remained serious threats, and both were robbed of league titles thanks to heartbreaking defeats in the final.
But this year the Danbury and Immaculate boys basketball teams enter 2019-20 with more questions than answers in recent history. The two got an early test against one another in front of a jam-packed gym that resembled a championship atmosphere.
