WETHERSFIELD — Class L champion New Canaan and runner-up Wilton were proof that two things can be true when the FCIAC rivals met to decide the Class L field hockey championship at Joseph F. Cottone Field on Saturday.
New Canaan showed why it was the top seed. The 22-1-0 Rams recovered from a 1-0 deficit to prevail 3-1 with a strong second half.
