Ridgefield captures first boys cross country championship since 2013

NEW CANAAN — It says a lot about how high the Ridgefield boys cross country team has set the bar for itself that after winning the program’s first FCIAC championship since 2013, the Tigers weren’t satisfied.

“A lot of them are a little bit disappointed,” Ridgefield coach Bryan Kovalsky said. “This was almost like a rust-buster for them and they didn’t feel super-sharp. They’ve got a little fire in them for the next few races.”
